Stage 07 Planning Meeting & First Euro-VO Technology Forum

Dates and general information

• The planning meeting for Stage 07 will take place March 17th-20th 2008 in Strasbourg.

• This meeting is organised in common with the EuroVO-AIDA project, as the first Euro-VO Technology Forum. Technical teams from the Euro-VO partners are invited to participate (please contact Keith Noddle and Francoise Genova).

• The kick-off of the EuroVO-AIDA project will be held in parallel with the Stage 07 Planning Meeting mainly on Monday 17 March, with possible extension to Tuesday 18 March a.m.

The meeting will be organised partly in Strasbourg Observatory (#13 on the campus map), partly in a nearby institute (ISIS, #46 on the campus map).

• On Monday 17 March and Tuesday 18 March, the meeting will be held at ISIS (Institut des Sciences et d'Ingénierie Supramoléculaires), 8 Rue Gaspard Monge, Strasbourg . This is near the Observatory, at the tram stop Universités on lines C and E. ISIS Web site is here. For the VO old-timers, this is the place where the post-ADASS IVOA Interop meeting was held in 2004. Their access map is here. The tramway line is on Boulevard de la Victoire. The Rue de l'Université (the Observatory access is 11, rue de l'Université) is on the top-left of the map.

• On Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20, the meeting will be held at Strasbourg Observatory, 11 rue de l'Université, in the main building (the one with the dome). You can use either the Universités or the Observatoire tram stop on lines C and E.

• Lunch will be organized at the Cité administrative canteen. You'll have to purchase tickets during the morning coffee break (11.45€ per lunch) for the administrative canteen. You can also grab sandwiches in the area.
